THRASH is a one/two-week program where high-school aged skateboarders experience the Calling All Skaters lifestyle, learn what it looks like to live a life surrendered to Jesus as a skateboarder and grab a hold of the mission to represent Jesus in the skate culture.

WHAT IS THRASH?

Calling All Skaters THRASH is 7-14 days of full-on discipleship, evangelism and vision for high school age skateboarders. This intense program is led by the Calling All Skaters crew and takes place in major skateboarding cities around the world.

BE EMPOWERED FOR EVANGELISM

Students are encouraged and equipped for evangelism through teachings. Every day will provide opportunities and challenges for students to share Christ at the skateparks, on the streets, at McDonalds and through social media to enable them to walk away with confidence in their ability to continue an evangelistic lifestyle.

RECEIVE VISION

Through the experience of THRASH, young skateboarders are stoked with vision to boldly represent Jesus Christ within the skateboarding culture and are given a visible example of what it can look like.

WHY?

Teenage skateboarders hold a huge piece of the heart of Calling All Skaters ministry. We see the 15 year old kids slumped against the fence at skateparks, drunk and high. We see the upside down crosses and 666 painted on their griptape. We see that the only role models they have are the guys they watch in skate videos and the 25 year old guy at the park who supplies the alcohol to the teenagers. It breaks our hearts to see these young men and women lost because they are "like sheep having no shepherd..." They need to know Jesus and His powerful, life-giving, mind-renewing love! They need to see another option for their lives and be given Christian role models.

DO I HAVE TO BE GOOD AT SKATEBOARDING TO DO THRASH?

No. We care much more about your heart being set on fire for God than we do about your skateboarding skill level.

CAN GIRLS DO THRASH?

Yes. Calling All Skaters has girls on staff who are praying that God will call female skaters to come do THRASH!

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY?

Apply anyway. God will provide the money. Pray, work, save, give, serve and communicate about THRASH with people who love God. They will be super stoked and will want to help you do it! If you do the possible, God will do the impossible

WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE FOR THRASH?

High school age is normally 13 to 17 years old. If you are 18 or older we recommend you apply for the Calling All Skaters DTS program.
